Landlords and tenants often want kitchens, bathrooms, floors and interiors left ready when furniture is gone. That is move-in / move-out cleaning. It is not a promise that a property will pass any particular inspection — standards vary.
Empty rooms change the work
When cupboards and floors are clear, dirt that sat behind furniture shows. The useful visit is built around those surfaces, plus kitchens and bathrooms, on a date that matches key handover.
- Tell the team whether the unit is empty or still partly furnished
- Share bedroom count and the handover date
- Mention kitchens, bathrooms and any extras you want scoped
Move-out versus deep cleaning
Deep cleaning is for occupied homes and workplaces that need a detailed reset. Move-in / move-out is framed around handover. They can overlap, but the starting question is whether the property is being handed over.
Timing
Book against the date keys are available, not only against the moving truck. If furniture is still in place, say so — the scope has to be realistic.
